 | The Bunka Fashion Business School (BFB) is a graduate level professional school of fashion education, the first of its kind in Japan. To qualify for admission, students must have graduated from a university or completed a three-year curriculum at the vocational school level. BFB has two departments; the Intensive Program of Fashion Creation, with a faculty consisting of experienced College professors and prominent fashion designers, was created to develop qualified individuals capable of leading in the world of fashion; and the Intensive Program of Fashion Retail Business, with a faculty of prominent instructors with an abundance of practical experience in the business world, was created to develop qualified individuals capable of leading the next generation of fashion professionals and creating new fashion related businesses. Only 20 strongly qualified candidates are admitted each year to each departments two-year program. BFB provides the highest level of professional education, utilizing a well-organized, flexible learning program that is designed to meet the individual objectives of its students. BFB also collaborates with research institutions within Bunka Gakuen, and with related institutions and corporations inside and outside of Japan. BFB also assists its graduates in finding suitable employment, and their efforts to start their own businesses. |
